During the 2nd quarter of 2021, the DOST Regional Office VII was able to issue 1 Fairness Opinion Report for the transfer of the Industrial Technology Development Institute-developed technology “Cacao Winnower-Desheller” to Engr. Nemar S. Quijano of Ora et Labora Trading and Engineering Services Inc.

Undergoing Fairness Opinion Board evaluation would give both parties a bird’s eye view of the whole technology transfer transaction.  Moreover, the constructive recommendations of the board would serve as a reference for some unseen concerns in the transaction and provide measures and direction to both the licensor and the licensee.  The agency gives prime importance to the technologies developed by our very own researchers and inventors and will continue to advocate for its transfer.
